I had mentioned that Flat Stanley arrived just before we left to Indonesia.
In the letter that came with him Franziska asked me to show him nice sights and take a photo of him, maybe with a little journal, so that her school class could learn about other places. The letter said that US sights would be good (if he stayed in the US), but given we were in Singapore and Indonesia this was not really an option.
I do admit we considered the US embassy in Singapore and a cool can of Coke.

Another thing that spiced things up: the school had taken 2 weeks to send him to us in Singapore.
And he has to be back on October 10.
