On the latest episode of John Gruber’s “The Talk Show” Serenity Caldwell, who is a big iPad Pro fan, talked about a neat app, iFontMaker, which enables you to create your own fonts on the iPad. Intrigued I downloaded the app and built an extended set of characters simply based on the handwriting I am using when writing comics…

Here’s how this looks like when I install the font on my iPad and use it in a word processor like Pages…  

This is really cool. I don’t think I’d have the patience or passion to build a “real” font from scratch, but it’s a neat little trick and can actually save me a lot of time…
